I wanted to let you know about a show Jim and I saw last Sun called THE MOTHER F**CKER WITH THE HAT (yes, that is the name of the play!).  It is a very creative, edgy and interesting play which features a friend of ours Jaime Carrillo in the lead role.  The staging and acting is phenomenal and we really encourage you to try to catch it.  The play is being put on by the wonderful theatre company SpeakEasy Stage in the Roberts Theatre at the Calderwood Pavilion on Tremont Street.  The play goes til mid-Oct.  Tix are Pay What You Wish for this Thurs's show, so that will be a great oppty to catch it.  It should be noted tho that there is a lot of strong language, some nudity and some smoking (stage cigarettes).  We didn't find any of it off-putting tho, but I wanted to mention it.

Also I wanted to let you know that I will be reading the English version of my poem THE LITTLE GRAY MOUSE next Mon evening Sept 24 at 8:00pm in Central Square at the Bagel Bard Anthology Event organized by Stone Soup at the Out of the Blue Gallery, 106 Prospect Street, Cambridge.  About 30 poets will be reading their poems, which had been selected and published this past spring in this year's BB Anthology.  The order will be by last name, so I wil get to close the evening as my name WIESS falls after a poet with similar last name but spelled WEISS. There are many talented poets in the Bagel Bards, a local group of poets and other writers, and it should be a nice night of poetry.  If you are available I hope you will come out to see my lively reading and that of others.  The event will be about 1.5-2 hours long.
